The kids and I just got back from the bushwhacker river trail in to moondipper and pine Burl hot springs and we were not let down. Moondipper was shallow and unkempt, who knows for how long, full of silt and sand. We spent the afternoon digging and damming and ended up with 2 nice soaker pools, fully temp. adjustable. We flushed the pools numerous times, but the silt persists, which is normal for moondipper. All in all, a very nice soak. No trash, very nice. The whole trail was he upper trail is very clear, but the river trail, the one that cuts off 2 steep climbs, is visible most of  way. It did lead us into a marsh of ankle deep black mud, which we slogged through, still glad not to have to climb those hills! The river was cool and just over knee deep but it was swift in places. Our 12 year old made it fine. Pine Burl is as always, a very nice soak without much work, other than the climb. Smiley
